WCA 2016 Finals set for next week

The event featuring Epsilon and TyLoo is set to kick off on the ninth of December.

Yinchuan, China will play host to the 1.35 million RMB (~$196,000) contest which will feature ten teams from across the globe.

The competition will start on December 9 with the Group A matches and continue on December 10 with Group B. The semi-finals and grand final will be played on December 11.

Epsilon booked their tickets in the European qualifier

The groups will be played with a best-of-two, round-robin format and the top two squads from each group will advance to the semi-finals. Both the semis and grand final will be best-of-threes.

The 1.35 million RMB prize will be distributed in the following manner:

1. 600,000 RMB (~$87,420)
2. 300,000 RMB (~$43,710)
3. 200,000 RMB (~$29,140)
4-8. 50,000 RMB (~$7,285)
