Due to Jesper "tenzki" Plougmann's inability to attend the ESEC 2014 LAN Finals, Denmark have been replaced by Poland in the tournament taking place in Belgrade on December 14th-15th.

After most of team Denmark realized that they wouldn't be able to attend ESEC LAN finals due to various commitments, Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann's new line-up stepped in to replace them.

TENZKI was unable to go as well in the end though, which meant that the defending champions wouldn't be able to take part in the tournament at all. Jacob "Pimp" Winneche said the following about the situation:

"Its with sadness that Team Denmark can't go to the LAN finals to defend last years championship! After a solid groupstage & bracket performence everything was in right place, to once again battle it out for the european championship." Winneche told E-Frag.net.

"Unfortunately school and other comitments denied the likes of Xyp9x, Dupreeh, Device, myself Pimp, and some others to go for the finals. This means that we this year is unable to participate in the LAN finals in Serbia, and its with big sadness that we have to withdraw from the tournament.

The ESEC guys have done everything in their power to sort this thing out, but nothing could be done. That's how it is sometimes, we'll just have to live by, and come back even stronger next year! Gl to everyone else participating, hope you will have an amazing experience, as we had last year in Serbia!! :)"

In Denmark's stead, E-Frag decided to invite Poland, who lost to Denmark in quarter-finals. The Polish roster for the event, which has now received flight tickets to Belgrade, looks as follows:

PolandWiktor "TaZ" Wojtas
PolandFilip "NEO" Kubski
PolandPaweł "byali" Bieliński
PolandPaweł "innocent" Mocek
PolandJacek "MINISE" Jeziak

Poland will take on Finland in the semi-finals of Electronic Sports European Championship 2014, which will be taking place at the BelExpocentar in Belgrade, Serbia on December 14th-15th.
